Abraham Lincoln by Drew Friedman (All the Presidents, Fantagraphics, 2019)

Pennsylvania-based illustrator Drew Friedman has employed his intensely realistic, warts-and-all style of caricature to satirize celebrity and authority for four decades.

In his latest book from Fantagraphics, All the Presidents, Friedman points his pen at the exclusive club of the United States presidents.

Philip Street is bringing back "Fisher"

Philip Street will be posting seven of his Fisher comic strip every week on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

Six days a week, the posts will feature older strips (starting from 2002), but a brand-new strip will be published each Sunday.

The strips are presented as short video clips, with one or two frames shown at a time.

Newseum Closing at the End of the Year

The D.C. museum dedicated to journalism, the First Amendment and a free press will close at the end of the year. The Newseum said in a statement that the museum will close Dec. 31, 2019.

The privately-funded museum has struggled financially for years, the statement said.
