Postmedia apologizes, cancels syndicated cartoon after offensive post

Postmedia, owners of the National Post and dozens of papers across Canada, has cancelled a syndicated cartoon after an “offensive” post was published that depicted the Lone Ranger and Tonto in a bar.

But it wasn't being a woman that made Bretécher one of the few (if not the only) artists to work for all three of the 9th art's founding journals: Tintin, Spirou and René Goscinny's Pilote

Star-Ledger editorial cartoonist Bil Canfield dies at 99

Editorial cartoonist William (Bil) Canfield, who entertained millions of newspaper readers, died peacefully on January 30th at his home in Phoenix, Ariz., with his daughter Susan at his side. He was 99.

Seth Wins Jury Prize in Angoulême
