Pat Bagley wins 2020 NCS Award for Editorial Cartooning

Pat Bagley is the winner of this year's National Cartoonist Society award for Editorial Cartooning.

Pat has been the editorial cartoonist of The Salt Lake City Tribune for the last 40 years and is the past President of the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists.

Sheriffs association demands apology for Bagley cartoon

The Utah Sheriffs Association has issued a stern rebuke of the Salt Lake Tribune and editorial cartoonist Pat Bagley in response to what it called a divisive and prejudicial cartoon.

In sharing the cartoon on his Facebook page, Bagley wrote that," White supremacists have made a point of infiltrating law enforcement. That's a fact. That's a problem."

Charlie Hebdo reprints cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad

French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo is reprinting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad, just as accomplices in the 2015 office attack begin their trial today. 

That massacre left a dozen people dead, including some of France’s most notable — and controversial — cartoonists.
