The Australian Kennedy Foundation has announced this year’s winners of the Kennedy Awards for Outstanding Journalism.
In the category of Outstanding Cartoon, the prize goes to Cathy Wilcox of the Nine Network & The Sydney Morning Herald, for her cartoon Solid Ground.
Finalists for the award are:
- Jim Pavlidis, Nine Publishing, for his cartoon Mowed Down
- Megan Herbert, The Age & The Sydney Morning Herald, for her cartoon Not Fit for Purpose
The Kennedy Awards are named after the indigenous journalist Les Kennedy to recognise excellence in journalism in the state of New South Wales.
