Pro Cartoonists leaves FECO

After a great deal of thought by the board of the Professional Cartoonists’ Organisation and through consulting our members, PCO [UK] has decided to leave the Federation of European Cartooning Organisations [FECO] forthwith.

FECO-France becomes France-Cartoons


Following persistant clashes with FECO* International, its' French chapter officially renamed itself FRANCE-CARTOONS.

Cartooning for Japan (2)

A “Cartooning For Japan” exhibition, organised by the Japanese cartoonist No-rio, was opened last weekend in a department store in Hirosaki, in northern Japan. Exhibitions in Sendai (where the tsunami hit) as well as Tokyo are also planned.
Here is a small selection of the 300 drawings submitted by 76 cartoonists from 33 different countries:

Cartooning For Japan

Marlene Pohle and Zoran Petrovic of FECO (Federation of Cartoonists Organisations) and Meisi Grill of the Förderverein Komische Pinakothek will be holding a sale of  cartoons for the benefit of the victims of the latest tsunami in Japan.
In the beautiful rooms of the Förderverein Komische Pinakothek, Herzog-Rudolf-Straße 9, Munich, they will, on May 26 / 27, offer for sale originals and signed prints of renowned cartoonists and entrust the receipts to the Japanese consul and the president of FECO Japan.
