Internationally renowned cartoonist Quino will be joining the national guests for this edition of "Cartoon Xira", which will take place from April 22 to May 28 in the Celeiro da Patriarcal building.

The Argentinian, who has been publishing regularly since 1954, is the author of one of the most popular cartoon characters of all time.

Mafalda, the girl who hates soup, whose questions about political, social and even scientific life gave an acute analysis on the state of the world at the time, has enjoyed great popularity, especially in America Latin America and Europe.

Since its first edition in 1999, "Cartoon Xira" offers us a review of the year with the best of graphic humor.

Since then, the event has been acclaimed as one of the most important cultural initiatives promoted by the city and has long been a national reference.
