Canadian editorial cartoonists bid farewell to Brian Gable

The Globe and Mail threw a retirement party in Toronto last Friday and presented Brian Gable with six cartoons of himself drawn by his confrères across the country.

• Wes Tyrell draws for Zoomer magazine and is president of the Association of Canadian Cartoonists (ACC), 
• David Parkins draws regularly for The Globe and Mail, 
• Aislin (Terry Mosher) draws a weekly cartoon for The Montreal Gazette and is past president of the ACC, 
• Bruce MacKinnon is the editorial cartoonist at The Chronicle-Herald in Halifax, 
• Sue Dewar was The Ottawa Sun's editorial cartoonist and now freelances for the Artizans syndicate, 
• Serge Chapleau is the editorial cartoonist at Montreal's La Presse.

Brian as well as three of the above cartoonists were featured in a special stamp issue celebrating Canadian editorial cartoonists two years ago.
