Pat Bagley Leaves his Staff Position

Pat Bagley announced that he was leaving his staff position at The Tribune as Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall proclaimed May 31, 2025 Pat Bagley Day.

After a long and successful career spanning 45 years, he has decided to leave full-time work as a political cartoonist so he has more time to do what he wants to do, such as travel.

He’ll continue to draw Utah cartoons for the Tribune, working as a freelancer.
