A request for cartoons to support a cartoonist stuck in one of the worst refugee camps in the world was made by Cartoonists Rights Network International:
Dear colleagues,
This year's Cartoonists Rights award goes to Eaten Fish, a cartoonist stuck in Manus Island.
To bring more attention and push the Australian government to free this young man who has been sexually and physically harassed, I would like to ask you all to join our campaign and draw a cartoon, asking for his release.
Australian cartoonists have drawn and donated a number of cartoons to put him in the spotlight.
The award ceremony is on Sept. 24th.
Please send your cartoons to:
nik.kowsar@cartoonistsrights.org
Best regards,
Nik
