The set of four stamps features the works of Chester Brown, Michel Rabagliati, Seth, and cousins Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki – all of whom have made significant contributions to the genre and continue a long line of Canadian storytellers honoured by Canada Post.

The Toronto Reference Library will be hosting the Toronto Cartoon Art Festival next weekend.
This Saturday at TCAF Joe Ollmann will be interviewing Seth, Chris Oliveros and Brad Mackay about their new book “The Collected Doug Wright: Canada’s Master Cartoonist (1963-1980)” live and in-person at the Hinton Room of the Toronto Reference Library at 12 p.m.

The US Postal Service is celebrating the creator of "Peanuts"

Ten different designs on each sheet of 20 stamps will feature the "Peanuts" gang, including Charlie Brown, Lucy, Franklin, Sally, Pigpen, Linus, Snoopy (with Woodstock), Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, and Marcie.

Over the next week, Canada Post will unveil five stamps that celebrate five of Canada'sgreatest editorial cartoonists, whose thought-provoking and seminal work has helped shape our national fabric over the last half-century.
Videos and stories will be shared with each unveiling, with a special online roundtable discussion with the artists planned for Friday, October 8.

U.S. Postal Service must pay millions for Statue of Liberty mistake

A federal judge ordered the Postal Service to pay $3.5 million to Robert S. Davidson, after admitting it had confused an image of his plaster sculpture replica in Las Vegas for the 19th-century stone-and-copper behemoth off the New York shore.

Carol Highsmith Sues Getty Images for $1 Billion

In December, documentary photographer Carol Highsmith received a letter from Getty Images accusing her of copyright infringement for featuring one of her own photographs on her own website.
It demanded payment of $120.
